Wheatwine-style ale fermented with pears and aged in White Port barrels
It goes without saying that our Bruers truly have a passion for alternative ingredients, fresh sources of fermentable sugars, and of course, unique barrels. Our insatiable curiosity inspired us to concoct this experimentation in fermentation: a co-fermentation of wheat wine ale and pear that was then aged in White Port barrels. With no added adjuncts post aging, this is purely wort, fruit, and wood.
